Rain-Water conservation drive and Say No to Plastics awareness drive launched in Jammu

Jammu: The Rain-Water Conservation Drive 2021 in collaboration with Sprouts Educational Trust Society for Sports Bandhu Rakh was organized by CYBERNATICS School and In league with Team Mask Force Chairman and former Deputy Commissioner Sales Tax Vijay Sharma and S Jorawar Singh expert in solid and plastic waste management here recently.

Vijay Sharma has been trying to achieve best results by promoting many awarness programs. The Team Mask Force Chairman and former Deputy Commissioner Sales Tax along with the Sushil Singh Charak Paryavaran Ratna Award in South Asia Region his currently implementing a program on Say No Plastic Bags.

The former Deputy Commissioner Sales Tax wants our country to be free from plastics because polythene is threat for irrigation, land, environment and animals. Plastic in any form or of any quality is harmful for health over a period of time. In a perfect world you would want to avoid exposure to all forms of plastic, he said.

“Considering plastic lurks in every nook and corner of our lives, banishing it completely seems unrealistic and impractical. But we can start with more awareness about the little ways with which we can reduce our exposure to plastic. We request to all people of our country to stand with him to stop using polythene hope all you will support him in this campaign”, remarked Sharma.
