“Public Will Give Them a Befitting Response”: Fadnavis Slams Uddhav Thackeray Over Political Alliances

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis delivered a sharp critique of Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) leadership, targeting their recent political decisions and alliances. Speaking at a public event, Fadnavis stated, “The true face and character of Uddhav Thackeray and his army ‘UBT’ has been revealed by whom they handed over the state to in their greed for power. If they ally (in coalition) with people who engage in anti-national, anti-religion, anti-humanity activities just for the policy of appeasing votes, then the public will give them a befitting response.”

Fadnavis accused UBT of prioritizing short-term political gains over the interests of the state and its people. According to him, forming alliances with groups involved in controversial or divisive activities undermines Maharashtra’s social and cultural fabric. He urged voters to carefully consider the implications of such political moves in upcoming elections.
