“Rahul Gandhi Seeks to Humiliate India Abroad”: BJP’s Anurag Thakur Targets Congress, AAP Leaders

Dharamshala: BJP MP Anurag Thakur launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and AAP leaders, accusing them of undermining India’s image and insulting its institutions. Speaking at a public event, Thakur stated, “The truth is that whenever Rahul Gandhi goes on a foreign trip, he has only one agenda, to show India in a bad light, to raise a question mark on India’s democracy, and to insult constitutional institutions continuously… The truth is that the family and party that ruled the country for 6 decades, today they leave no stone unturned to humiliate India because the public repeatedly shows them the face of defeat.”

Thakur also commented on the FIR filed against AAP leaders Saurabh Bhardwaj and three others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. He said, “Hurting religious sentiments in any way is not right. In a democracy, you have the right to protest, but you have hurt people’s sentiments by making fun of Santa Claus.”
