Proposal has been sent to Disaster Management Authority regarding the Class 12 State board examinations: Varsha Gaikwad

CBSE cancelled its 12 board examination however Maharashtra government has to take decision on cancelling HSC board exams. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad today said that a proposal has been sent to Disaster Management Authority regarding the Class 12 State board examinations. She said that the authority will take a meeting and a decision will be taken in a day or two. “The health and safety of the students is our priority,” Miss Gaikwad added.

On Centre announcing cancellation of CBSE board exams, Varsha Gaikwad yesterday welcomed the decision and said that the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray-led government will soon announce the decision for HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) students in the state.
