Patna: Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor launched a sharp attack on Bihar’s political leadership, accusing them of turning their backs on the state’s people.
Speaking at a public gathering, Kishor said, “Every person in Bihar is troubled, every family is suffering. So when the leaders come into their midst, when they come close to the people, the public will surround them — whether it is Nitish Kumar or any other leader.”
He further criticized those in power for hiding behind security and suppressing dissent. “Those who sit in government bungalows, hiding behind the police and security forces, and who have used lathi (baton) on women and children in Bihar — when they come into the field, the people will question them, surround them, and hold them accountable,” he added.
