Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar addressed the controversy surrounding Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote theft, stating, “When the opposition wins, then there is no talk of vote theft or EVM machines. But when they lose, they create fake narratives. They spread the false narrative of changing the Constitution, in which they succeeded to some extent. And now, they are once again trying to set new fake narratives.”
On the recent US President Donald Trump’s Executive Order imposing a $100,000 fee on companies sponsoring H-1B visa applicants, Pawar remarked, “Donald Trump is the President of the United States. It is his right to make decisions, but the effects of those decisions are felt worldwide. Sometimes he suddenly makes decisions and even calls Prime Minister Modi. It is not clear what exactly goes on, but ultimately, everyone should live together peacefully.”
