On the other hand, Assam Advocate General Devajit Saikia rejected the claims of political vendetta, asserting that the allegations made by Khera are “devoid of any truth.”

He also questioned the maintainability of Khera’s plea in the Telangana High Court, arguing that the case was registered in Assam and that Khera is a resident of Delhi.
