PM Modi Warns Against Threat from Infiltrators, Accuses Previous Governments of Compromising National Security for Vote-Bank Politics

Ekta Nagar: On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a strong warning about the growing threat posed by foreign infiltrators, accusing past governments of ignoring the issue and compromising the nation’s security for political gains.

Addressing a massive gathering at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, Modi said, “Today, the unity and internal security of our nation face a serious threat from infiltrators. For decades, foreign infiltrators have been entering our country, consuming its resources, and disrupting its demographic balance.”

The Prime Minister blamed previous regimes for what he called years of negligence and appeasement politics. “Unfortunately, previous governments ignored this pressing issue, turning a blind eye to the problem. In the pursuit of vote-bank politics, they deliberately compromised national security,” he said.

Emphasizing his government’s determination to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, Modi added, “For the first time, the country has taken a firm and decisive stand to address this challenge head-on and protect its integrity.”

Highlighting his earlier initiative, the Demography Mission, announced from the Red Fort, the Prime Minister said the programme was meant to ensure demographic stability and protect national interests. “I announced the Demography Mission from the Red Fort. But today, as we take up this issue seriously, some are putting their own self-interests above the national interest. These people are waging a political battle to secure rights for infiltrators,” he said, in a veiled attack on opposition parties.
