Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The event took place amid tight security arrangements as thousands of devotees gathered to participate in the religious festivities.

PM Modi reached the sacred confluence via the Arail Ghat route on the Nishadraj Cruise. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also accompanied him to the grand religious fair, which draws millions of pilgrims from across the country.

February 5 holds significant religious importance for Hindus, as it marks both Magh Ashtami and Bhishma Ashtami, making the occasion even more special. The Maha Kumbh, considered the largest spiritual gathering in the world, is held every 12 years and is deeply rooted in Hindu traditions.

As the Maha Kumbh 2025 progresses, lakhs of devotees, saints, and tourists are expected to visit Prayagraj to take part in the sacred rituals and seek divine blessings.
