“PM Modi Is a Coward Who Stopped Operation Sindoor Under US Pressure”: Rahul Gandhi

Patna: Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi launched a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government during an election rally in Bihar on Thursday, accusing the Prime Minister of lacking the courage to stand up for India’s interests and failing to deliver real development in the state.

Referring to the Nalanda University project, Gandhi said, “I said in Nalanda that the best university should be made there. During our tenure, we started Nalanda University. Our vision was that it should be visible in the world, but the BJP halted it.”

He alleged that the BJP’s economic policies had destroyed Bihar’s small and medium businesses. “They did demonetisation, implemented the wrong GST, and finished off small and medium businesses that would have provided employment in Bihar,” Gandhi stated.

Emphasizing his vision for local industry, the Congress leader remarked, “I want a day when ‘Made in Bihar’ is written behind a telephone instead of ‘Made in China’. PM Narendra Modi cannot do this… He is a coward.”

In a sharp escalation of rhetoric, Gandhi accused Modi of succumbing to international pressure over Operation Sindoor, saying, “The US President said 50 times that he called up Narendra Modi and asked him to stop Operation Sindoor, and he was scared within two days and stopped it.”

Challenging the Prime Minister directly, he said, “I challenge the Prime Minister to claim in any of his public meetings that the US President is lying. But he cannot do this because he is a coward, and such a person cannot do any development in Bihar or India.”
