PM Modi Flags Off Amrit Bharat Express (Gaya–Delhi) and Buddhist Circuit Train (Vaishali–Koderma) to Boost Tourism and Religious Travel

Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated two major train services aimed at enhancing tourism and religious travel in Bihar. The Amrit Bharat Express, running between Gaya and Delhi, and the Buddhist Circuit Train, operating between Vaishali and Koderma, were officially flagged off.

These new train services are expected to significantly improve connectivity to key Buddhist pilgrimage sites and tourist destinations across the region. Officials highlighted that the initiatives will not only promote spiritual tourism but also support local economies by facilitating easier travel for devotees and tourists alike.

The Buddhist Circuit Train will particularly benefit pilgrims visiting historically and culturally important sites linked to Lord Buddha, while the Amrit Bharat Express aims to provide faster and more comfortable travel between Bihar and the national capital.
