Over 80 crore 85 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
In the last 24 hours, more than 37 lakh 78 thousand vaccine doses were administered. Over 30 thousand new COVID-19 cases were reported while around 39 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours. In all, 295 people lost their lives during the period.
Till now, more than three crore 26 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. Union Health Ministry said, the COVID recovery rate in the country now stands at 97.68 per cent. Presently, the active caseload is over three lakh 32 thousand.
Over 11 lakh COVID tests were conducted yesterday. So far, 55 crore 23 lakh tests have been conducted in the country.
