In a distressing incident unfolding in Dhampur city of Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district, a Muslim family fell victim to a vicious attack just ahead of the Holi celebrations. The horrifying episode, captured on video and widely circulated on social media, has sparked outrage and demands for swift justice against the perpetrators.

The video depicts a group of men surrounding the Muslim family, comprising two women and a man, as they rode on a bike. In a display of aggression, the assailants forcibly applied colours and doused them with water, purportedly in the spirit of Holi festivities. Despite the family’s visible discomfort and attempts to shield themselves, the relentless onslaught continued.

Additionally, the Dhampur circle officer has been entrusted with engaging directly with the victims, ensuring their voices are heard, and facilitating a comprehensive inquiry into the incident.
