Lucknow: State Secretary of Saffron Defense Council (SDC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Uttar Pradesh leader and MLC candidate Nitish Pandey on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the death of Samajwadi Party founder and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav. In a statement issued here, said that late Mulayam Singh was a senior leader of Indian politics and had influenced the politics of the whole country till the very end.

In the politics of the country, the affinity, motherhood that the workers and the people of the opposition used to get from Mulayam Singh Yadav was really admirable. He was such a pillar of politics that by tightening the theory on the test of struggle, on the strength of his ability, had brought it to the ground in reality.

He struggled throughout his life to bring youth, students, backward, Dalits and minorities into the mainstream politics. He selflessly raised his voice for the Dalits, backwards, minorities and for the poor and the weak.

With his death a distinguished era of theory and struggle has come to an end. “While offering my last respects to him, I offer my heartfelt humble tributes”, said Pandey.
