Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, sarcastically referring to him as “Brahma, the creator of the universe” after Kumar claimed credit for Lalu Prasad Yadav’s political rise.
Jha’s remarks came a day after Nitish Kumar stunned the Bihar Assembly, asserting, “I made your father. When Lalu entered politics, there was nothing in Bihar at the time.” He further claimed that even people from Lalu’s own caste opposed his rise, but Kumar stood by him.
Responding to Nitish’s claims, Jha ridiculed the JD(U) leader, saying, “I am worried about Nitish Kumar now. It is unfortunate that he is using such language. He was once in Lalu ji’s team and was called Lalu ji’s man.”
Jha argued that Tejashwi Yadav had presented a well-reasoned analysis of Bihar’s challenges during the Assembly session, but instead of addressing the issues, Nitish resorted to rewriting history. “If Nitish Kumar now believes himself to be the creator of Bihar, then I am even more worried about him,” Jha added.
