The Hague, Netherlands: The first-ever Netherlands Yogasana Sports Competition concluded successfully at Shri Vishnu School in The Hague on March 23, 2025. Organized by the Netherlands Yogasana Sports Association, the event saw enthusiastic participation from students representing four prominent schools: Shri Vishnu School, Shri Ganesha School, PRINSEHAGHE BASIS SCHOOL, and HSV International School.
Over 50 students competed across various age categories, showcasing their yogasana skills in a spirited competition aimed at promoting yogasana as a competitive sport and encouraging healthy rivalry among young participants.

10-14 Years:
• Gold: Ansh (PRINSEHAGHE BASIS SCHOOL)
14-18 Years:

35-45 Years:

55+ Years:
• Gold (Male): Vijay Ji (Vishnu School)
• Gold (Female): Radha Ji

Kristi, Vedika, Priyanka, Ambika, Tara (across different age groups)
Bronze Medalists:
Diya, Vedanshi, Niharika, Sara
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sinha from the Embassy of India, Chief Guest Adv. Jasbir Singh (Lawyer), and entrepreneur Vishwanath N.G.
A panel of experienced coaches from World Yogasana—Mr. Yudhweer Rewari, Ms. Vandana Deora, Ms Indu Maturiya, and Mr. Vishnu Chakravarthy Mariappan—served as judges for the competition. These experts are currently in the Netherlands to promote yogasana as a sport across various locations.
The Netherlands Yogasana Sports Association expressed its gratitude to Shri Vishnu School for hosting the event and to all participating schools, students, coaches, and guests for their support in making the competition a success. This landmark event marks a significant step in the promotion of yogasana as a recognized competitive sport in the Netherlands.
World Yogasana Coaches Conduct Training Sessions Across the Netherlands
In addition to the competition, the visiting World Yogasana coaches will be conducting specialized yogasana training sessions at the following locations:
