NDA organises Free Medical and Clinical camp at Apna Vihar Colony, Jammu

Srinagar: Nations Development Association (NDA) in collaboration with Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM) Jammu & Kashmir, Tawi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre (TDIC) Bakshi Nagar, and Team Mask Force (TMF) on Sunday organised its first ever medical cum clinical camp at Apna Vihar Colony, Jammu and distributed AYUSH immunity boosting drugs to the general public that was supplied by ISM.

The medical cum clinical camp was organised at Tawi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre in association with National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) well known in the field of medical testing and in the discipline of molecular testing. A team of paramedics conducted blood pressure monitoring, Complete Blood Count (CBC), random blood sugar and urine routine examination under the supervision of J.R Gupta chairman, and Lachman Dass Sharma, Managing Director of Tawi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre.

Lachman Dass Sharma and his team have been relentlessly working throughout the Covid crisis and serving people. Lachman Dass Sharma also shared with the media that poor people are unable to avail services of the best diagnostic centres or spend that much to get the best and precise results.

The camp was organised by following the guidelines issued by the local administration. Nearly 100 people were examined by Dr Sanjan Koul, Dr Chetan Singh, Dr Ravi deputed by Dr Suresh Sharma, ADMO Jammu.

The camp was inaugurated by former minister Raman Bhalla, Nimran Deep Singh Bhullar, State President Yuva Jat Manch Bharat, Bhanu Mahajan of Municipal Councillor Ward 21 Gandhi Nagar, Surinder Devgodha, retired executive engineer, Editor-in-Chief of Early Post daily newspaper Puneet Arora, former deputy commissioner Sales Tax, Vijay Sharma, Chairman Nations Development Association NDA.

Speaking on the occasion Sushil Singh Charak expressed his gratitude to Dr Mohan Singh, Director ISM, AYUSH J&K, Dr Suresh Sharma, ADMO Jammu for deputing competent team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines.

Sushil Singh Charak appreciated the role of Team Mask Force chairman and retired divisional commissioner Sales Tax, Vijay Sharma and his team members for providing logistical support and for making local arrangements.

Charak also appreciated the role of Tawi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre Bakshi Nagar, in conducting medical tests for the benefit of the people. They were very cooperative and helpful. He thanked the guests and dignitaries on the behalf of the association.
