NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) stalwart Supriya Sule has quashed rumors of familial discord amidst political disparities, emphasizing that ideological differences within a large family do not necessarily indicate a schism. Speaking to reporters in Pune, Sule addressed recent developments within her party and responded to queries regarding the alleged disunity within the Pawar family.

“With over 120 to 125 members in our family, ranging from adults to small children, it’s natural for diverse opinions to emerge,” Sule remarked, underscoring the resilience and unity of the Pawar clan. Despite recent political shifts, particularly the departure of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance, Sule reiterated the family’s solidarity.

“Our family is united and will remain so indefinitely,” declared Sule, a Member of Parliament representing Baramati.

Responding to queries about allegations of corruption levied against the NCP, Sule expressed gratitude towards Union Minister Amit Shah for refraining from such accusations in recent times. “I appreciate the BJP’s change in rhetoric regarding corruption within our party,” she stated. “Previously, the BJP leadership frequently labeled the NCP as a ‘naturally corrupt party,’ but notable leaders now refrain from such claims.”

Sule’s remarks come amidst heightened political discourse, with speculation swirling around Sharad Pawar’s purported desire to see her ascend to the role of Chief Minister. While refraining from directly addressing Shah’s assertions, Sule conveyed her gratitude for what she perceived as a shift in the BJP’s stance towards her party.

Furthermore, Sule criticized the BJP, alleging dynasty politics within the party’s ranks. “There is evident dynasty politics within their own party,” she asserted, drawing attention to perceived double standards in political discourse.
