Amidst swirling speculations, BJP leaders from Maharashtra have embarked on a crucial journey to Delhi for discussions on seat allocation within the Mahayuti (Grand Alliance). A significant meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled, primarily focusing on allotting candidates for seats held by BJP’s allied parties.

Surprisingly, BJP is contemplating fielding candidates in a substantial 37 seats. Insider sources to TV9 Marathi hint at the Shinde group receiving 8 seats, while the Ajit Pawar group might secure only 3 seats. Following the revelation of this seat allocation, political circles have adopted a cautious approach, prompting senior BJP leaders to weigh in.

Fadnavis dismissed speculations as mere “kite flying,” asserting that seats will be allocated with due respect to all allies. He expressed discontent with media-driven assumptions regarding seat allotment and urged for a cessation of such unfounded conjectures.

Highlighting the ongoing discussions within the party, Fadnavis shed light on the comprehensive election strategy being deliberated upon by the central leadership and state core committees.
