Mumbai : Mumbai is set to host a high-profile global gathering as the Billionaires for Peace Conclave (BFP) convenes at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, bringing together an influential mix of Nobel Peace Prize laureates, business leaders, policymakers, and philanthropists.
Organised by the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, the conclave is positioned as a curated platform for dialogue on peace, sustainability, and global cooperation. Around 280 participants are expected to attend, making it a relatively closed-door but high-impact engagement.
The Mumbai edition follows last year’s Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit in Dubai, which saw participation from 10 Nobel Peace Prize laureates. Organisers are attempting to replicate that momentum, this time aligning it with India’s growing global positioning.
Among those expected to attend are Achyuta Samanta, Savji Dholakia, Motilal Oswal, Burjis Godrej and Vikram Shroff.
Union ministers Ramdas Athawale and Raksha Khadse are also expected to participate.
The business and innovation ecosystem will be represented by Vikash Mittersain and Rahul V. Karad, while actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood is also slated to attend.

International participation includes Siddeek Ahmed and Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, along with other global business leaders and institutional representatives.
A key feature of the conclave will be the I Am Peacekeeper Champion Awards, where select global leaders and changemakers will be recognised for their contributions to peace and social impact. The awards are expected to be presented by Nobel laureates, lending international visibility to the event.
The programme includes panel discussions, leadership dialogues and closed-door roundtables focusing on themes such as peacebuilding, responsible capitalism, sustainable development and cross-border collaboration. Dignitaries including Rui Duarte Barros are also expected to participate.
Speaking ahead of the event, Huzaifa Khorakiwala said the initiative aims to align “influence with intent” by bringing together global leadership for actionable outcomes in peace and sustainability.
While the conclave is positioned as a platform for global dialogue, its real impact will depend on whether discussions translate into measurable initiatives beyond symbolic engagement—something similar global summits have often struggled to achieve.
As India seeks a larger role in global diplomacy and economic leadership, such platforms also underline Mumbai’s continuing relevance as a hub for international dialogue.
