Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde has strongly criticised Leader of the Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his recent remarks, urging him to rise above politics at a time when the nation is collectively confronting the threat of terrorism.
Reacting to Gandhi’s statements, Shinde emphasised that when all Members of Parliament are standing together and presenting a united front for India, divisive political commentary only weakens the country’s stance. He underlined the importance of national unity, particularly when dealing with issues of national security, and suggested that partisan politics has no role in the collective fight against terrorism.
