Mumbai: In a fiery protest against the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, workers of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) took to the streets in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area on Tuesday, burning Pakistani flags and raising slogans against Pakistan.
The demonstration was held in response to the brutal terrorist assault that claimed the lives of 26 people, including several tourists from Maharashtra. Holding placards and shouting slogans such as “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Down with Terrorism”, the MNS workers demanded that the central government take “decisive and unforgiving action” against those responsible for the bloodshed.

Addressing the crowd, a local MNS leader said, “We will not tolerate such cowardly attacks on innocent Indian civilians. Pakistan-backed terror groups cannot be allowed to operate with impunity. Our government must retaliate strongly.”
The Resistance Front, a proxy group of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has claimed responsibility for the terror strike in Pahalgam, which targeted a tourist-laden area in Anantnag district.
