Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena (MNVS) has demanded that the state government open up study halls and libraries for students who are appearing for exams or are unable to study due to inadequate facilities demands.
MNS’s Vidyarthi Sena’s vice president Akhil Chitre wrote a letter to Education Minister Uday Samant about distressed students suffering challenges due to the Coronavirus.
The Supreme Court recently gave the judgment that according to UGC rules and regulations all pending exams should be conducted. In the next few days JEE (mains), NEET, UPSC and SSC (Staff Selection Commission) exams will be taken soon.

Vidyarthi Sena states in this letter that during the Lockdown period many students were distanced away from studies. Especially the students living in small houses, joint families were highly affected due to Corona.
Students express that they lack the material required for their studies. Therefore they are not properly able to concentrate on studies and are troubled mentally due to it.
Hence MNS’s Vidyarthi Sena demands the state government to open study halls and libraries which come under Government control as it would be easier for students to concentrate on their studies in these libraries.
