Mumbai: Maharashtra Minister and senior BJP leader Ashish Shelar on Sunday undertook a review of the ongoing cement concrete road works across Mumbai, marking the party’s third such visit to assess progress and ensure timely completion.
“Today, the Bharatiya Janata Party is out on the streets for the third time to review the ongoing work on cement concrete roads and to assess how the work is progressing and when it will be completed,” Shelar told reporters during his inspection. He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to monitoring public infrastructure work and holding authorities accountable to Mumbaikars.
Meanwhile, addressing the ongoing all-party parliamentary outreach under Operation Sindoor, which aims to highlight India’s firm stand against terrorism on the global stage, Shelar praised the Centre’s inclusive strategy.
“When the government takes a strong stand against terrorism, efforts are made on multiple fronts. The government has involved all parties and necessary Members of Parliament to go across the world and present India’s position, exposing Pakistan’s malicious intentions. This too is a part of the political battle. The entire nation stands united,” said Shelar.
