New Delhi: In the wake of heightened security concerns following escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued a directive to all states and Union Territories to activate emergency protocols.
In an official communication, the MHA has written to the Chief Secretaries and Administrators of all states and UTs, urging them to invoke emergency powers under the Civil Defence Rules. The move is aimed at ensuring the efficient implementation of precautionary and security-related measures in the current volatile environment.
