Mega Har Ghar Tiranga Rally in Rajpura Inspires Patriotism Ahead of Independence Day 2025

Rajpura: The Mega Har Ghar Tiranga Rally 2025 in Rajpura witnessed an overwhelming response today, reigniting the spirit of patriotism and national unity. Organised under the Government of India’s nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the event encouraged citizens to proudly hoist the Indian National Flag at their homes and workplaces ahead of Independence Day 2025.

The rally featured prominent dignitaries including Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and former J&K Minister for Health and Medical Education; District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Jammu Bharat Bhushan; DDC Rajpura Asha Rani; DDC Vijaypur Shilpa Dubey; and former BDC Chairman Radha Sham.

Also present were senior officials—Dr. Sumit Sharma JKPS, DSP Headquarters Samba; SHO Ghagwal Naveen Angral; Er. Aabber Khan, In-charge Police Post Rajpura; Mandal President Rajpura Asha Rani; Mandal General Secretary Ranjit Singh; and Sanju Sharma, Shakti—along with hundreds of residents, school students, and volunteers.

The rally began near Police Post Rajpura and passed through the main streets before concluding at Baba Bharam Dev Sathan. Participants waved the Tiranga, chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Vande Mataram,” “Jai Hind” and “PM Narendra Modi Zindabad”, while homes and shops were decorated in the colours of the national flag.

Dr. Manyal addressed the gathering, calling the Tiranga “a living embodiment of India’s pride, sacrifice, and unity.” DDC leaders emphasised that the campaign was not only about flag hoisting but also about remembering freedom fighters, preserving democratic values, and involving youth in patriotic initiatives.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving Rajpura resonating with pride and unity. Organisers hailed the rally as a resounding success and a strong reminder of the collective spirit that binds India together under the Tricolour.
