Meera on ‘Psycho’ Not Releasing in India
Pakistani actress Meera is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Psycho, but expressed disappointment over its India release being blocked.
She said during an interview with The Blue Truth Digital:
“India mein release nahi ho rahi. Uska mujhe bahot dukh hai (It’s not releasing in India. I’m very sad about that).”
Meera Recalls Time With Mahesh Bhatt & Alia Bhatt
Talking about her past association with Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and his family, Meera made surprising claims about her time spent at their home.
She said “Woh toh bahot khush hote. Bahot khush hote Mahesh Bhatt, Alia khush hoti. Main jab ghar par hoti thi, toh mere saath soti thi woh. Bade khush hote woh film dekh kar, mujhe call karte (He would be very happy. Mahesh Bhatt would be very happy, Alia would be happy. When I used to be at their home, she would sleep with me. They would be very happy and call me after watching the movie).”
When asked about Alia Bhatt’s personality, Meera described her as intelligent and disciplined.
“Bahot smart thi, bahot intelligent. Padhaai mein bahot achchi thi (She was very smart, very intelligent. She was very good at studies).”
Bollywood Debut and Past Controversy
Meera made her Bollywood debut with Nazar, directed by Soni Razdan and written by Mahesh Bhatt.
In the past, she had made serious allegations against Mahesh Bhatt, including claims of controlling behaviour and physical abuse, which had sparked controversy at the time.

When asked about harassment claims, she said:
“Nai aisa kuch nahi (No, nothing like that).”
When further questioned if she had ever accused Mahesh Bhatt, she clarified:
“Kabhi bhi nahi. Aisa kuch nahi hai, mere bahot achche director hai woh (Never. Nothing like that, he’s a very good director).”
