Mahindra to Invest Rs 15,000 Crore in Maharashtra, 16,000 Jobs to Be Created: Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday announced a major investment boost for the state’s automobile sector, stating that Mahindra & Mahindra will invest ₹15,000 crore in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nashik. The investment is expected to significantly strengthen industrial growth and generate large-scale employment in the region.

Speaking about the development, Fadnavis said, “Mahindra & Mahindra, a company in the automobile sector, will invest Rs 15,000 crore in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nashik. This will create many jobs.” He added that the state government’s focused push on manufacturing and automobiles is already showing results.

According to the Chief Minister, the new investment will directly benefit the employment landscape in Maharashtra. “Ten thousand people will get employment in the three-wheeler industry. Six thousand people will get employment in this,” he said, highlighting the scale of job creation expected from the project.
