Pune: Maharashtra Minister Dattatray Bharne has addressed concerns over the pace of fund disbursement under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, assuring that while the scheme is still in its initial phase, the financial support for eligible women is not facing any fund shortage.
Speaking to reporters, Bharne clarified that the scheme, launched recently to provide financial aid and social security to women, has encountered some administrative delays in disbursing benefits. However, he stressed that the budget allocation is sufficient, and necessary steps are being taken to streamline operations.
He further stated that the government is confident the disbursement process will stabilize within the next 2 to 3 months, ensuring timely and regular payments to all beneficiaries. Officials are reportedly working to resolve technical and documentation-related hurdles that have slowed down the initial rollout.
