Maharashtra Congress Committee general secretary Sachin Sawant slammed ED and raised questions over attaching assets worth Rs 4 cr in Anil Deshmukh money laundering case.
“Demand answers from Enforcement Directorate-1. Do you still confirm theories floated in Media of ₹300 crore land at Uran when now you only say that the land was purchased in 2005 and worth ₹2.67 crs?2. Payment of flat was done in 2004 how can it be connected now to the case?”, he asked.
“3. You declared that several dance bar owners gave money worth 4.70 crs to @AnilDeshmukhNCP ji through Waze. Why those bar owners are not behind bar yet? 4. What abt investigation of Parambir Singh who even after admitting knowledge of ₹100 crore demand, didn’t take any action?”.
“Our suspicion gets strengthened that all these selective actions are at the behest of Modi govt & politically motivated to defame MVA”, Sawant concluded.
