Mumbai: In a bid to strengthen the Congress party in Maharashtra, state Congress president Harshavardhan Sapkal has launched a major organisational restructuring drive. As part of this initiative, senior party leaders have been appointed as district-wise observers to assess ground-level dynamics and recommend necessary changes.
During a crucial meeting held at Tilak Bhavan, the party’s state headquarters, Sapkal directed the newly appointed observers to submit their reports within 15 days after interacting with local Congress workers and officebearers. Based on these findings, Congress will fill vacant positions and induct fresh talent at various levels, from the mandal to the state unit.
