In Maharashtra, colleges and Universities will resume offline classes from today. State government has allowed physical presence of students in all agricultural and non-agricultural colleges in adherence to following COVID19 protocols.
As per the guidelines, teaching, non-teaching staff and students have to be fully vaccinated to attend the colleges. Others will have to continue in virtual mode and have been advised to complete vaccination as early as possible.
Colleges have been asked to conduct vaccination drives in consultation with local authorities. 50 percent attendance is allowed in colleges but shops, canteens and cafeteria will remain closed. All Covid-19 protocols which includes wearing of face masks, using hand sanitizer and maintaining physical distance are mandatory for attending offline classes in colleges.
