Mumbai: Kavya Savarna Kumar and Himanshu Bhatkar emerged as the standout performers at the badminton tournament for boys and girls aged 11 to 17 organised by the Manora Badminton Academy at the Malabar Hill Club.
Kavya produced an impressive display to clinch double titles in the Girls’ Under-11 and Under-13 categories.
Himanshu Bhatkar also secured two championship titles after winning the Boys’ Under-15 and Under-17 categories.
The event marked the 119th tournament organised by the Manora Badminton Academy and witnessed participation from more than 100 players from across Maharashtra.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted in the presence of Soham Daruwala, Chairman of Badminton at the Malabar Hill Club, and Manohar Godse, Director of the Manora Badminton Academy.
