Baramati: A deeply emotional revelation from Baramati has added a human layer to the political silence gripping Maharashtra. NCP–Sharadchandra Pawar faction leader Sandeep Ravindra Kshirsagar has shared details of his last meeting with Ajit Pawar, saying the senior leader appeared calm, positive, and focused on personal bonding rather than politics just days before the tragic incident.

Speaking to media, Kshirsagar said he met Ajit Pawar two to four days before the incident, and the interaction left a lasting impression. According to him, Ajit Pawar seemed content and spoke warmly about working together in the future, but no political agenda or strategy was discussed during the meeting.

Kshirsagar clarified that the visit was purely personal in nature. He said the meeting was planned with the help of people close to Ajit Pawar’s family and was meant to be a short stay of two to three days, focused entirely on spending time together. He stressed that the intention was to meet as family well-wishers, not as political representatives.

The NCP-SP leader underlined that at no point was there any conversation about power, positions, alliances, or the political situation in Maharashtra. “It was a personal moment, not a political one,” he indicated, dismissing speculation that the meeting had any hidden political meaning.

These remarks come at a time when Maharashtra is still mourning Ajit Pawar’s sudden passing, while political discussions continue quietly in the background. Kshirsagar’s statement has resonated widely, as it paints a picture of a leader who, in his final days, chose relationships over rivalry and humanity over politics.
