ADC Kupwara & Principal GDC Kupwara chief guests and guest of honour

Srinagar: Jan Shikshan Kupwara (JSS) on Wednesday organized ‘Annual Certificate Distribution Ceremony’ at Skill Hub Initiative Office, Galizoo, Kupwara.
The event was organized for 2021-22 session for various trades in which Ghulam Nabi Bhat, ADC Kupwara was chief guest and Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Principal GDC Women’s Kupwara participated as guest of honour.
ADC Kupwara on the occasion felicitated the JSS pass-outs from various trades and praised the extraordinary services of JSS Kupwara in providing skill development across the district.
Principal GDC Women’s Kupwara congratulated the JSS alumni on their completion of training under various trades and wished success in their future endeavours.
In all 380 pass outs under various trades were distributed certificates in presence of ADC Kupwara.
Following the certificate distribution, ADC Kupwara urged the alumni to come forward and take advantage of self-employment schemes (SES) to overcome unemployment issues across the district.
On the occasion, the candidates also shared their experience and expectations of the EDP and their business ideas. Later they were counselled by ADC Kupwara and Dr Iqbal Najar, Director JSS Kupwara regarding various job roles and potential employment ideas.
Director JSS Kupwara and ADC Kupwara also showed willingness to hunt the potential placement opportunities for skilled youth and agreed to work on this aspect in future.
