Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kupwara district president Javid Qureshi along with other party leaders visited fire victims of Yangerher Shatigam, a village of Rajwar Handwara. Qureshi visited the families affected by the fire incident and expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the grieving families.
During the visit, the BJP Kupwara district president assured affected families of all necessary assistance. he expressed gratitude to the community for the courage and cooperation and said that the party and administration stands with the families affected by this tragic incident.
Qureshi urged the administration for rehabilitation and accommodations for affected families of fire incident at an earliest, added that all 10 affected families should be considered under PM Awas Yojna for the current financial year so that they would not have to live outside in the open.
The BJP Kupwara district president was accompanied by district vice president Malik Gulzar, district general secretary Nazeer Ahmad Bhat, district media head Sheikh Mohmmad Iqbal, district president Kisan Morcha, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, constituency president Handwara, Mohammad Maqbool and others.
