Mumbai: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website and mobile application have been reported as non-functional, leaving users unable to book tickets or check the status of their existing bookings. This unexpected outage has caused widespread inconvenience among passengers relying on IRCTC’s e-ticketing services.
As of now, the IRCTC website displays a message indicating maintenance activity:
“Due to maintenance activity, e-ticketing service will not be available. Please try later. For cancellation/file TDR, please call at customer care no. 14646, 08044647999 & 08035734999 or mail at etickets@irctc.co.in.”
The disruption also extends to the IRCTC mobile application, which users report as inaccessible. The downtime has sparked frustration among travelers, especially those looking to make last-minute bookings or track their journey updates.
