New Delhi: In a strong and strategic retaliation to Pakistan’s deliberate targeting of Indian air bases, the Indian Armed Forces launched a well-coordinated and precise counteroffensive against critical Pakistani military infrastructure. The action was confirmed by Colonel Sofiya Qureshi during a special briefing on Sunday.

“After Pakistan deliberately targeted air bases, Indian armed forces took a quick and well-planned retaliatory action and targeted technical installations, command & control centres, radar sites and arms store,” said Colonel Qureshi.

The Indian response involved the use of air-launched precision ammunition and fighter jets to strike multiple high-value military targets inside Pakistan. The bases hit included Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunian, which are believed to host significant military operations and logistics.

Additionally, Colonel Qureshi revealed that a radar site in Pasrur and an aviation base in Sialkot were also destroyed using pinpoint precision munitions. “During these actions, India ensured minimum collateral damage and losses,” she said, underscoring the country’s commitment to a calibrated response aimed strictly at military infrastructure.

The counterstrike comes amid heightened tensions following Pakistan’s overnight attacks on 26 Indian military installations across four states, including attempts to target an airbase in Punjab with a high-speed missile.

India’s measured yet firm retaliation highlights its operational readiness and strategic restraint, while sending a strong message that any act of aggression will be met with a decisive response. The situation remains tense, with security forces maintaining heightened alertness along the western border.
