India Shines at Bali: Bags 2 Outstanding Contestant Awards & 32 Other Prizes, Ranks 2nd in Abacus World Championship

India has once again displayed its prowess in the field of Abacus and Mental Math at the recently concluded AIAMA World Championship for the Abacus and Mental Math Olympiad Championships. The event, hosted by the AIAMA (Abacusking International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Alliance), saw participation from 32 contestants from India, who clinched an impressive 34 awards in total.

The participants from India, hailing from various centers of the renowned Wonder Kidz Learning Academy in Mumbai, Pune, and Madhya Pradesh, showcased exceptional talent in their respective age groups (6 to 14 years) and categories, securing victory at the international level. The championship witnessed a total of 318 contestants from 14 countries, making it a highly competitive platform.

Among the Indian contingent, 22 young talents demonstrated their mental prowess by securing the third position in their individual groups, namely Prisha Satam, Purva Murudkar, Rajveer Gavhane, Vaidehi Shaha, Aounish Patil, Aaradhya Patil, Spruha Apte, Sharvil Shirodkar, Swaraj Sanas, Vihan Shaha, Adhya Choubey, Moksh Adwani, Yuvan Satam, Kaivalya Narkar, Pranav Korgaonkar, Utkarsha Shinde, Neha Kadam, Eureka Patil, Tanmay Shedge, Ruchika Kondhekar, and Arya Parocha.

Additionally, an impressive group of 11 participants, including Riaan Chandarana, Vivaan Dodhia, Reyaansh Deokar, Gargi Pai, Navya Dash, Prisha Shivdas, Shashwat Dasari, Jay Bhangare, Jivesh Manera, Adhiraj Garg, and Tapasva Panchal, secured the second position in their respective categories.

The outstanding talents of Riaan Chandarana and Reyaansh Deokar were recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Contestant awards, further adding to India’s laurels.

The coaching staff of Wonder Kidz Learning Academy also received accolades for their exceptional guidance and support. Mrs. Leena Patil and Ms. Shruti Patil were awarded the Best Coach for their dedication and commitment to nurturing the talents of the young participants.

India’s collective performance led to the nation’s second position in the overall team rankings, an impressive feat considering the intense competition from participating countries. The host country, Indonesia, secured the top spot for the best team award, showcasing their remarkable abilities in this mental math championship.

Mr. Ashutosh Patil, India’s Ambassador and Council member of Abacusking, as well as the Founder & Director of Wonder Kidz Learning Academy, received the trophy on behalf of the Indian team, expressing pride in the achievements of the young participants.

The success at the AIAMA World Championship has further cemented India’s position as a powerhouse in the field of Abacus and Mental Math. The next International Competition is set to take place in India in 2024, with the prestigious honor of hosting bestowed upon Wonder Kidz Learning Academy, promising yet another exciting chapter in the world of mental arithmetic and mathematical brilliance.
