More than 219 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said, over five lakh doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, two thousand 139 new COVID cases were reported in the country.
The country’s active caseload currently stands at 26 thousand 292 and it is at 0.06 percent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.76 percent. A total of 3 thousand 208 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and with this, the total recoveries touched over four crore 40 lakh and 63 thousand. The Ministry said, the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 1.13 percent and the Daily Positivity Rate is at 0.81 percent.
A total of more than 89 crore 74 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, over two lakh 76 thousand tests were conducted.
