India administers over 112 crore one lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses

More than 112 crore 34 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

Health Ministry said, more than 30 lakh 20 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said that a total of 10 thousand 229 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 34 thousand 96 which is the lowest in 523 days. Active cases account for less than one percent of total cases and are currently at 0.39 percent, the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate is currently at 98.26 percent, the highest since March 2020. A total of 11 thousand 926 people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched over three crore 38 lakh and 49 thousand.

The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.99 percent which is less than two percent for the last 52 days. The daily positivity rate is at 1.12 percent which is less than two percent for the last 42 days.

Over 62 crore 46 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than nine lakh tests were conducted.
