Delhi: Former Kaiserganj MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has claimed that his exit from the Lok Sabha was not the result of an electoral verdict but a well-planned conspiracy, asserting that he remains determined to return to Parliament.

Speaking during a podcast on a news channel, the BJP leader said his parliamentary journey was “abruptly cut short” and described his removal as humiliating. “If I am alive, I will definitely contest the Lok Sabha election again. I will first seek a BJP ticket. If the party does not give it, I will contest as an Independent. But I will fight,” Singh declared.

Singh also expressed disappointment over not being invited to the second anniversary events of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Despite being a long-time public representative, he said he has not yet visited Ram Lalla. “When I go, I will stand in the queue like an ordinary devotee,” he added.

Reflecting on the period when serious allegations were made against him, Singh said Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav chose not to comment on the issue, a restraint he claimed to deeply appreciate and would never forget. He added that leaders from the BSP, JD(U), and RJD also refrained from making statements against him during that time.

Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Singh said he feels hurt when questions are raised about the Indian Army and Sanatan Dharma. He alleged that Gandhi’s advisors hold a Left-leaning ideology, which, according to him, results in statements that “find approval across the border in Pakistan.”
