Health centre Zachaldara organised blood donation camp in collaboration with 21 RR at Zachaldara

Srinagar: The area of Rajwar consists of many remote villages which are devoid of easy access to basic medical facilities. Keeping this in mind Community Health Center, Zachaldara organised a Block Health Mela in collaboration with 21Rashriya Rifles (21RR Guards) with an aim to provide basic medical aid to the locals.

The medical camp consisted of doctors and pharmacists from CHC Zachaldara, Ayush Medical unit, District Hospital Handwara which includes specialists from Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General medicine, Oral Cancer, Hypertension and Diabetes, Eye specialist and Tuberculosis department. 

The Indian Army Camp at Zachaldara in collaboration with District Hospital Handwara also organised Blood donation to meet the requirement of the Blood Bank Handwara. A large number of locals turned up for treatment and took advantage of this Health Mela.
