Ghulam Mohmmad Mir holds party meeting at his residence at Bakiaker, Handwara

Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held working committee meeting at Kupwara district, keeping in line with the practice to continuously review and plan its future strategies.

Under the supervision of senior BJP Jammu & Kashmir leader and national executive committee member Ghulam Mohammad Mir held meeting with his party senior workers including Shabir Ahmad Zargar, Gulzar Ahmad, Nusrullah Khan and party members at his native village Bakiaker, Handwara.

The purpose of holding the meeting was to make preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in J&K. He said that this while welcoming the delimitation commission exercise of delimitation of assembly constituencies in J&K. Exuding confidence, he said that the BJP will achieve huge support with the people of J&K as BJP are working for the build, develop and working for the welfare of Union Territory of J&K.

Mir also urged the Bharatiya Janata Party workers to become a “bridge of faith” between the party and the people and said they must forge ties with the people based on the party’s guiding values of “service, resolve and sacrifice.”
