Four accused have been arrested for allegedly assaulting and killing a youth at the Sambhaji Chowk here on December 7, a statement said on Tuesday.

The accused have been identified as Sushant Kailas Wable, Shubham alias Shambhu Gorakh Jadhav, Shiv Gorakh Jadhav and Bhushan Jagdish shinde, all of whom were residents of this district.

On Saturday midnight, the four alleged accused assaulted one Vivek Suresh Shinde with sharp weapons and eventually ended up killing him, the statement mentioned.
