Empowering women for a promising career by NGOs & Indian Army

NGO REACHA and Indian Army in association with NGO TRRAIN (Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India) launched TRRAIN Her Ascent, an industry-placement linked women’s empowerment project in Kawari, Kupwara (an aspirational district) of union territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

This program will be imparting tech enabled retail training. The students will be certified by the organisations and by RASCI. 

Nikhil Pant, Mamatha Esteves, Azad Naqasbandi and Shilpa Bajaj from REACHA formally introduced the program to the beneficiaries and dignitaries explaining the program contours. 

On this occasion, prominent local personalities Javed Ali, BDC Qadirabad, Ali Mohammed, Sarpanch Kawari, Manzoor Ahmed- Deputy Sarpanch – Awoora, Javed – ward member, Irfan Ahmed Lone – ward member and Manzoor Ahmed Khan – ex-serviceman were also present. Javed Ali and Manzoor Ahmed appreciated the efforts of concerned organisations for providing these trainings for women empowerment 

The beneficiaries spoke their heart out indicating that this program will give them wings and that they will become financially independent. They felt that this program will enable them to work towards upliftment of other women as well.
