Delhi: In the wake of the devastating car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) O.P. Singh said the state is on maximum alert to prevent any further threats. Calling the incident “extremely unfortunate,” Singh assured that security forces across Haryana have been fully mobilized.

“All suspected hideouts, parking spaces, missing vehicles, and luggage are being thoroughly checked as part of high-alert protocol,” he said, adding that thousands of officers are on the ground coordinating with central and Delhi agencies. “You might think it’s easy to say, ‘Go to the ground.’ But high alert means thousands of hours, thousands of personnel, and we’re fully engaged,” the DGP stated.

Expressing solidarity with the victims, Singh added, “Our condolences go out to the families. We pray for the speedy recovery of those who lost their loved ones and those who are injured. We hope the agencies find those responsible and punish them for their actions.”
