Want to engage youths in sports not in Drugs: Shoaib Shafi Chairman Chinar Tournament.

Srinagar: The final match of the 5th edition of the Chinar Cricket Tournament (CCT) which was organized by the local youths, was won by Dadoo Rangers Kashmir which lifted the Bakhi Aker trophy on Tuesday. The final match was played between BCC Bandipura and Dadoo Rangers Kashmir which was won by Dadoo Rangers Kashmir.
Toss was won by Dadoo Rangers Kashmir and elected to bat first in which Dadoo Rangers Kashmir scored 157 runs and the BCC Bandipora scored 113 Runs in their respective allotted 20 overs. The Dadoo Rangers Kashmir won the match by 44 runs.
The winner and runner up teams were felicitated with trophies and cash prizes, runners-up were given Rs. 50,000 and cash prizes of Rs. 1,00,000 were given to the winners by State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Ghulam Mohammad Mir, DDC member Rajwar Mir Sulaiman.
In the post-match presentation ceremony DDC Rajwar Mir Sulaiman said that we have talented youth in our constituency in each and every field. Need of the hour is to explore their talent on better platforms by providing opportunities to them.
The tournament was organised by CCT chairman Shoiab Shafi, Mohammad Hafeez, Syed Altaf and Sajad Sofi. In all 60 teams from different Districts of Kashmir participated in the tournament.
State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Ghulam Mohammad Mir, DDC member Rajwar Mir Sulaiman, Mohammad Shafi Dar Ex Sarpanch Baki Aker, Ayaz Ahmad Mir, Nissar Ahmad Pir and many other guests were present on this occasion.
