Industrialist Gautam Adani recently met with Sharad Pawar, the president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), at Silver Oak, Pawar’s residence, for nearly three hours. This meeting has raised speculation about the growing rapport between Adani and Pawar amidst the changing political landscape. The political discussions during the meeting have also garnered attention.
According to available information, the meeting at Silver Oak was attended by NCP’s state president Jayant Patil and MLA Jitendra Awhad. During the discussion, Sharad Pawar expressed his discontent with Gautam Adani, as revealed by reliable sources to ‘ABP Majha.’ The sources also disclosed the dissatisfaction voiced by members of the NCP regarding the group’s involvement in the government.
Gautami Adani had met Sharad Pawar in April, and again on June 1. This has sparked discussions about the timing and significance of the meetings between Pawar and Adani in the political realm. It is being talked about in political circles that there may be the involvement of central leadership within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Ajit Pawar had also made efforts, as claimed, to join hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) through his speeches. On the other hand, Praful Patel, a leader from the opposition party, and a prominent figure in the business world, sees the meeting between Adani and Pawar not only as a mere meeting but also as a conversation that holds deeper meaning.
