New Delhi: Congress leader Ajay Maken on Wednesday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of corruption amounting to ₹382 crore in the healthcare sector, based on findings in a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report.

Addressing a press conference, Maken criticized Delhi’s AAP government, alleging a lack of transparency. “When they were in opposition, they would base their accusations on CAG reports against the Congress government. Today, there are 14 CAG reports exposing serious corruption by the AAP government,” he said.

Maken claimed that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not allowed these reports to be presented in the Delhi Assembly. “Kejriwal came to power promising to eradicate corruption, yet he has kept these CAG reports hidden. We are presenting one of these reports on corruption in the health sector to the people of Delhi,” he added.

Citing the report, Maken alleged that ₹382 crore were misused under the pretext of improving healthcare infrastructure. He further criticized the AAP for failing to deliver on its promises. “They claimed to complete their work on time and save public money. However, the CAG report reveals that only three new hospitals were constructed in the past decade,” he said.
